Tucked in a forest, visitors still get a view of the summit of Mount Rainier. The approach is long and strenuous, but worthwhile for the solitude.

The yurt is nestled in a forest at 4,100 feet, with a view of the top of Mount Rainier. The trail is a strenuous 6.0 miles, requiring the longest amount of time to reach the comfort of shelter. You will find much solitude at this, our furthest destination.
Please contribute a trip report to share your experience for those who visit after you! This not only helps fellow riders, but it also helps hutkeepers ensure that the huts remain in good operating condition.
