The Owl and Raven Yurts are collectively referred to the Tam McArthur Rim Yurts, with access to a wood-fired sauna and a variety of terrain within the Three Sisters Wilderness area.
Protected in the trees beneath the exposed terrain of Tam McArthur Rim are two 20’ yurts and a wood fired sauna. Our wood-heated yurts are beautifully handcrafted by skiers, for skiers. Both the Owl and Raven yurts have a full kitchens, dining & lounge areas and each Yurt has six bunks.
Ideally located for ski touring, guests have access to 280,000 snow covered acres in the Three Sisters Wilderness. Tam McArthur Rim rises up 1,500 feet directly from the yurts and stretches for two miles, providing an incredible variety of terrain including open bowls, treed glades, couloirs, gentle meadows, and steep chutes.
Beyond Tam McArthur Rim, the wilderness stretches over spectacular ridges, glades, lakes and buttes leading to peaks over 10,000 feet. Broken Top, South Sister, Middle Sister and North Sister are all within a few miles. The mountains and the surrounding terrain offer limitless tours and lines for all levels of ability.
These huts are located 6 snow-covered miles and 1,100 feet above the Three Creeks Sno-park on the shore of Three Creek Lake. Check the map.
Please contribute a trip report to share your experience for those who visit after you! This not only helps fellow riders, but it also helps hutkeepers ensure that the huts remain in good operating condition.
